Are you a small business owner?
My latest book can help you become the CEO you want and need to be.
I'm Oswald R. Viva, author of It's Lonely at the Top!: A Practical Guide to Becoming a Better Leader of Your Small Company.
Do you feel alone as the owner/CEO of your business?
Do you feel you have all the weight of your business on your shoulders?
Perhaps I can help.
Working with people like you, capable entrepreneurs who are the engines that drive the US economy, have given me the extremely gratifying opportunity of participating in a large number of small and midsize businesses in many different fields. I like to think that in some modest way I contributed to the growth and success of those businesses.
I wrote this book to put on paper some of that acquired knowledge, hoping to help other owners of small and midsize businesses become the best leaders they can be.
This book does not attempt to "upstage" the specialized books in each subject covered and it is not a "how to" manual to tell you what you should do; rather it is meant as a coaching session with you one-on-one.
My job as a coach is not to tell you what to do or to give you the answers, but to ask the right questions or to give you opportunities to think, so that you come up with the answers appropriate for your business and for yourself.
Thus, this book doesn't contain theories or fancy ideas-of-the-week practices. It is based on real-world experience, and practical wisdom learned in real-life situations over many years. I don't intend to teach you to be a CEO, but I want to help you become the best CEO that you can be, for the good of your business and your own happiness.
You have already achieved much more than most people; starting a business and making it successful is a huge accomplishment. You are intent on improving yourself and your business because you want your organization to be solid and well-run, but you also focused on the self-fulfillment of your ambition to be the best. I hope that I can help you achieve both goals.
I will be pleased to discuss with you anything related to this book; please e-mail me.
